Smokey Bear’s 80th Birthday

Marion Soil and Water Conservation District was thrilled to participate in Smokey Bear's 80th birthday celebration, in partnership with the Marion County Library.

Our team joined forces with the library to educate and engage the community on wildfire prevention and the importance of conservation. The event was filled with fun activities, informative sessions, and a special appearance by Smokey Bear himself!

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate this milestone with us. We look forward to continuing our efforts in promoting environmental stewardship and protecting our natural resources.
